What's Going On With Dipika Kakar? Shoaib Ibrahim Reveals Post-Surgery Update On Her 'Tennis Ball-Sized' Liver Tumour
Dipika Kakar

Television star couple Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar have been on a rough patch after Kakar was diagnosed with a ‘tennis ball-sized’ liver tumour in May.

Ibrahim, on May 15, via his YouTube channel, revealed the sad news, which was discovered following Kakar’s experience of ongoing stomach pain.

Now, after a month-long journey navigating the crucial phase of their life as a couple, Ibrahim once again took to YouTube to update their loyal fanbase regarding Kakar’s health journey on stage 2 liver cancer.

Reoccurrence Of ‘Aggressive’ Tumour

In his latest vlog, Ibrahim shared that Kakar has no cancer cells left in her body following surgery. But because the cancer was deemed “grade three and poorly differentiated”, there is a potential that the ‘aggressive’ tumour will recur.

Ibrahim further added that, after the surgery, the doctor prescribed medicine. And although there are no cancer cells present in Kakar’s body, if any are detected in the future, the dosage of medicine will be increased.

Kakar’s New Life Post Surgery

Starting next week, according to the latest vlog, Kakar is expected to start her new journey of treatment.

” Yeh treatment ek saal, dedh saal ya do saal bhi jaa sakta hai – The treatment can go from one year to two years,” He said.
