Robot Shankar Death News: Actor Robo Shankar, known for his popular comedic roles in Tamil television and films, has been admitted to the intensive care unit of a private hospital in Chennai after collapsing on the set of a film.

Famous Tamil actor-comedian Robo Shankar breathed his last on Thursday in Chennai. He was 46. According to the reports, Shankar had reportedly fainted on the sets during a film shooting and was taken to a private hospital.
Primary sources have revealed that Shankar was diagnosed with renal failure post-admission.
Speaking to the media, a close family member said, “On Wednesday, the actor was shifted to the intensive care unit after his condition worsened. However, unfortunately, he breathed his last this evening at around 8:30 PM”.
As per reports, Robo Shankar had recently battled jaundice, for which he underwent prolonged treatment. His significant weight loss during recovery had already raised concerns among fans. Despite this, he made a quick return to television and film commitments.
