Malcom Jamal Warner Death News: Malcolm-Jamal Warner, the beloved “Cosby Show” star, breathed his last on July 20, 2025.
As per reports, the star tragically passed away during a family vacation in Costa Rica. He was 54.

During his vacation, Warner was caught in a powerful ocean current near Cocles Beach, swept out to sea. Though bystanders and the Costa Rican Red Cross quickly came to his aid, things went terribly wrong in no time. Upon reaching the hospital, he was declared ‘brought dead’.
Talking about the cause of the star’s untimely death, Costa Rican authorities confirmed that it was due to asphyxia by submersion essentially drowning after being caught in a strong rip current.
