Alec Baldwin is making his return to narrative audio with “The Ides of April,” an 8-episode historical docuseries chronicling the pivotal 17 days in April 1865 — from the surrender at Appomattox to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln and the largest manhunt in American history.
Launching July 23 from Evio Creative, the new audio storytelling studio led by The Devil Within creator Branden Morgan, “The Ides of April” is the debut in a slate of premium historical content produced in collaboration with Baldwin.
“This is one of the most extraordinary American stories ever told, and one that still echoes through our country’s political DNA,” said Baldwin, who serves as executive producer. “It’s a privilege to bring these voices — and this chaos — to life.”
Written and produced by Morgan and recorded at CDM Studios in Manhattan, The Ides of April blends immersive sound design — engineered and edited by Zach McNees — with dramatic narration to explore the real events, conspiracies, and characters that defined this crucial time in American history.

Ad sales are managed by Ben Watson’s Impressions.FM. Executive Producers include Baldwin, Morgan, and Matt DelPiano.
The project is part of a larger initiative at Evio Creative, which has quickly emerged as a boutique powerhouse in narrative audio. The company’s flagship true crime podcast, “The Devil Within,” was recently picked up by MGM+ for a 4-part docuseries debuting later this summer.
Baldwin is represented by UTA and his manager Matt DelPiano.
