Initial reports say that the singer was rescued from the sea by the Singapore police and was admitted to a hospital, where he was receiving treatment for a severe head injury.
According to the reports, the singer fell into the sea while scuba diving and lost consciousness. He was immediately rescued by the Singapore police and taken to a hospital. “The singer was immediately pulled out from the sea and was admitted to a nearby hospital. Despite being placed under intensive care, doctors couldn’t revive him”.
Addressing all the questions by the fans of the music icon from around the world, The Northeast India Festival also issued a statement, saying that Zubeen Garg suffered breathing difficulties during scuba diving. “He was immediately given CPR before being rushed to Singapore General Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was declared deceased in the ICU around 2:30 PM IST,” the statement added.
