Timothée Chalamet is in the driver’s seat for another high-profile brand deal.
The Oscar nominated actor has signed on for a multi-year partnership to serve as a global ambassador for Lucid, the Silicon Valley-based technology company behind a line of advanced electric vehicles. The deal is a first for Lucid, which is rolling out the campaign with the tagline “Compromise Nothing.”
It also puts Chalamet back into a Lucid after he was first spotted cruising in a Lucid Air in 2023. For this partnership, the Dune star will headline a new campaign to promote the automaker’s SUV, Lucid Gravity, as the company seeks to “broaden cultural relevance of the brand.” Though the company released a series of images today with Chalamet to tout the partnership, the full campaign is expected to launch this fall. Lucid, which launched in 2016, offers luxury EVs, and the Gravity, for instance, has a base touring model that starts at $79,900 with grand touring available to order now for $94,900.

Offered Akerho “AK” Oghoghomeh, Lucid Motors’ senior vp of marketing: “He brings together the same fearless creativity and uncompromising vision that defines our brand, embodying what it means to compromise nothing, both on and off screen. Together, we’ll show what’s possible when innovation and cultural relevance come together to move the world forward.”
Chalamet next stars as the title character in Marty Supreme opposite Gwyneth Paltrow and directed by Josh Safdie. Next year, he’ll star in Dune: Part Three for Denis Villeneuve. He also recently rolled out in a new campaign for Cash App.
