Shefali Jariwala’s death came as a huge shock to the entire industry and her fans. Over the past few weeks, there have been rumours that late actress Shefali Jariwala might have overdosed on anti ageing drugs, probably on an empty stomach on the day of her death, which led to her cardiac arrest. Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi has strongly denied such allegations, terming them half baked information.

In an interview with Parag on its YouTube channel and in media interviews, Parag made it clear that Shefali was not using any traditional meaning of anti-ageing drugs. Rather, he said, she had at times IV infusions, drips of multivitamins, Vitamin C, collagen, and glutathione. These he insisted, were a part of her wellness program, not age-reversing drugs. He described that Shefali rarely enjoyed taking multivitamin pills every day she would forget to do so, so they decided to replace them with a monthly IV drip. On being pointed blankly whether any of these were anti-ageing medicines, he replied that the question itself was fallacious. Shefali did not want to take multivitamins every day because she was forgetting about them: These were multivitamins, Vitamin C, collagen and glutathione, one of the best antioxidants.

Shefali Jariwala Cause of Death: What Happened That Night?

Not only did the rumours relate to the nature of substances taken, but also the time of taking them, some alleged that Shefali had been using anti ageing injections on a clean stomach and this is what caused a dangerous lowering of blood pressure. Parag touched upon them specifically. He admitted that she had fasted in the morning of June 27 because of a pooja religious ceremony but added that she had eaten shortly afterwards and also some time before she got the IV drip. He denied that she had not been fed at all.

Shefali Jariwala’s husband stressed on the need to differentiate between the daily supplements and the alleged anti ageing drugs. He further stressed that day we took those medicines and she took that. Well, she did not not eat that day. She had no food, but she did pooja and then slept, and got up and took food again. That night a lot later he came to administer the drip to her. In her looks, Parag emphasised the young look of Shefali was accredited to discipline, dietary control and exercises rather than intake of the exotic anti ageing elements.

He remembered that she would occasionally eat half a kilogram of ice cream or Chinese food at least on Sundays and always accompanied by physical fitness work. He responded to the rumors of flooding in an acute way that he strongly encouraged people to ascertain the truth before the increased speculation. His clarification has been popularly reported in media houses. In an Interview Parag clearly stated that she had a well balanced and not extreme approach by Shefali and that the drugs she consumed were safe and legal.
