A+E Global Media is saying “yum-o” to Rachael Ray, expanding its partnership with the TV chef and personality. The deal adds to the extensive pact that A+E Global Media struck with Ray last year.
Under Thursday’s announcement, Ray and Free Food Studios — which is a joint venture between Ray, Intentional Content and A+E Global Media — will produce 110 new episodes for A+E Global Media’s Home.Made.Nation lifestyle brand and programming block on the A&E and FYI cable channels.
That order includes new episodes of Ray’s “Meals in Minutes,” among other fare. The new episodes will bow in 2026. When the joint venture launched in 2024, A+E Networks ordered 278 new episodes from Free Food Nation across various culinary-related series. The Free Food Studios collaboration included series featuring Ray and also included series featuring other notable chefs.
“I’m thrilled to continue growing our partnership with A+E and to keep sharing the kind of food and storytelling that feels like home,” Ray said in a statement. “Together with Free Food Studios, we’ve built a creative space where cooks and viewers can connect through comfort, curiosity, and real-life inspiration—and I can’t wait to bring even more of that to audiences everywhere.”
Ray launched Free Food Studios in 2023 with longtime collaborators Brian Flanagan, Anthony Amoia and Sean Lee of production house Intentional Content. The move came after her daytime talk show “Rachael Ray” came to an end after 17 seasons. (Ray, of course, was known for her huge Food Network output over the years.)
Under last year’s initial pact, series ordered included “Rachael Ray’s Meals in Minutes” and “Rachael Ray’s Tuscany.” Ray, Flanagan, Amoia and Lee are executive producers on the Free Food Studios series.
A+E Global Media’s Home.Made.Nation, which runs on A&E, FYI and various FAST channels, features series and short-form content that cover DIY, home improvement, home searching and decor topics as well as food, cooking and travel and other lifestyle-related content.
