Production has commenced on Prime Video India’s “Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle,” an original unscripted talk show that pairs Bollywood star Kajol with bestselling author and columnist Twinkle Khanna as co-hosts.
The show, produced by Banijay Asia, is described as a “bold, fiery, and candid” entry into the talk show space, with Prime Video promising an A-list guest roster featuring “the biggest names in Bollywood and the industry’s who’s who.”
The casting pairs two entertainment industry figures known for their outspoken personalities. Kajol, whose film career spans over three decades with hits including “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” and “My Name Is Khan,” has maintained a reputation for candid interviews and social media presence. “Maa,” headlined by Kajol, is currently in cinemas. Twinkle Khanna, a former actor turned author and producer, has built a following through her “Mrs. Funnybones” column and books that offer sharp commentary on contemporary Indian society. Both hosts are part of Bollywood star power couples, with Kajol being married to Ajay Devgn and Twinkle Khanna to Akshay Kumar.

The executive highlighted the hosts’ “signature blend of wit, feistiness, and unparalleled insights” as key elements that will drive “sparkling conversations that are humorous, unfiltered, and unapologetic.”
For Banijay Asia, the project represents another high-profile unscripted venture following successes with format adaptations including “Temptation Island,” “MTV Roadies” and “Into the Wild with Bear Grylls.” The production company has been expanding its Indian originals slate with both scripted hits like “The Night Manager” and “Hostages” as well as unscripted programming.

Prime Video has been investing heavily in Indian original content across both scripted and unscripted formats. The streamer’s local originals slate includes series like “Paatal Lok,” “Mirzapur,” “The Family Man” and recent releases “Citadel: Honey Bunny” and “The Traitors.”
