Joe Biden’s Prostate Cancer Discovery
Joe Biden‘s office announced the discovery in May, after the former president experienced a urinary symptom that prompted further medical evaluation, which led to the diagnosis.
At that time, his office stated, “Last week, President Joe Biden was seen for a new finding of a prostate nodule after experiencing increasing urinary symptoms. On Friday, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer, characterised by a Gleason Score of 9 (Grade Group 5) with metastasis to the bone. While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive which allows for effective management.”

According to the Cleveland Clinic, 13 out of 13 males are likely to develop prostate cancer at some point in their lives. Prostate cancer typically occurs in older men, and experts suggest that people who cross the age of 50 are at a higher risk of developing this serious disease.
