Fever Acquires Ticketing Service Dice

Live events platform Fever has acquired the ticketing service Dice, the companies announced on Thursday.

Financial details of the purchase weren’t disclosed. The acquisition comes just a day after Fever had announced a $100 million funding round led by L Catterton and Point72 Private Investments.

“Together, we are strengthening our position as the leading global tech player for culture & live entertainment,” Fever co-founders Ignacio Bachiller, Alexandre Perez and Francisco Hein said in a statement. “We are on a joint mission to put fans first and provide our partners with the best and most innovative tools. At Fever, we are firm believers that data and technology have the power to elevate the live music experience—making it more accessible, more personalised, and ultimately more impactful for fans, artists, and venues alike.”

Dice first launched in 2014 and has postured itself as a fan-friendly ticketing service, citing features like all-in ticket prices and its concert discovery features on its app. Dice subsequently wooed investment from prominent music executives like Matt Pincus, the founder of the investment company MUSIC, as well as from Kobalt Music Publishing founder Willard Ahdritz, who both invested as part of a $65 million funding round back in 2023, per Billboard.

Fever operates in 40 countries, and the company said that through the acquisition, Dice will gain access to Fever’s tech. In the past two years, Dice, the companies said in their press release, “has more than doubled its ticket sales, surpassing 10 million monthly active fans.”

LionTree Advisors LLC was the financial advisor in the deal, while Dice was represented by Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati LLP. Davis Polk and Wardwell LLP and Morrison and Foerster LLP were Fever’s legal counsel.

“Since launching DICE in 2014, we’ve stayed true to our mission to get people out more by constantly enhancing the fan experience,” Dice founder and CEO Phil Hutcheon said in a statement. “From our personalized Discover feature to our upfront, all-in pricing and Waitlist feature, we’ve always put fans first. That same ethos is what we’ve found in Fever. Joining forces allows us to scale even faster. Reaching new cities, helping sell out more shows, and delivering the seamless experience fans expect.”
