A Nasa research probe from a New Mexico facility crash-landed in a field in Edmonson, Texas on 2 October after it was blown off course.
Farmers Ann and Hayden Walter found the equipment and informed the local sheriff who thanked them for locating it.
“I was blown away by the response,” Ann Walter said on Facebook.
